What we process

To build or analyze your resume we process the information you give us: name, email, phone, country, work experience, education, skills and languages. We do not request or store payment data on our servers.

Where it is processed

Your resume text is sent to the Anthropic (Claude) API to generate or analyze content. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
If you generate a resume, we store its text and your email in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU/US) linked to an 8-character recovery code.
Files uploaded to the analyzer are processed inside your own browser: we extract the text locally and only that text reaches the AI. The file itself never reaches our servers.

Retention

Saved resumes are kept while the recovery code is active: 30 days on Basic, 90 days on Standard, 6 months on Premium. The period starts on your payment date and is enforced automatically on our servers.

Once expired, the resume is deleted from our database by a weekly cleanup process. From that point the recovery code stops working and the data cannot be restored.

Deleting your data

Email hola@getcvpro.com with your recovery code or email address. We delete your data within 30 days and confirm it.

Browser storage

We use localStorage to save your progress, language and preferences, so you don't lose your work if you close the tab. This information stays on your device, and you can delete it by clearing this site's data in your browser. We use no advertising cookies and don't sell data to third parties.

Security

We encrypt traffic (HTTPS) and restrict database access. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we don't claim it — avoid putting unnecessary sensitive data (ID numbers, bank details, health data) in your resume.

About the service

CVPro is an AI-assisted writing tool. We do not guarantee jobs or interviews.
The AI transforms and professionalizes the information you provide; it does not invent roles, employers, degrees or certifications. Always review the result before sending it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

Payment, guarantee and refunds

All plans are one-time payments. No subscriptions, no auto-renewals, no recurring charges of any kind.
Payments are processed through PayPal. CVPro never receives or stores your card details.
7-day guarantee: if you are not happy with the result, email hola@getcvpro.com within 7 days of purchase with your recovery code and we refund you in full. No justification required.
Refunds are issued through PayPal and usually appear in your account within 3 to 5 business days.
Once refunded, access to plan features is revoked. Files you already downloaded are yours to keep.

What each plan includes

Basic ($4.99): AI-built resume, ATS version with selectable text, 20 templates, visual editor, PDF download and a recovery code valid for 30 days.

Standard ($9.99): everything above plus 1 cover letter, 1 adaptation to a specific job posting, 1 translation between Spanish and English, and a recovery code valid for 90 days.

Premium ($14.99): everything above with unlimited letters, adaptations and translations, a recovery code valid for 6 months, and priority email support answered within 24 business hours.

Usage limits are enforced on our servers and tied to your recovery code.

Free resume checker

Text is extracted in your browser and sent for scoring. We do not store the resume text. If you ask for the report by email, your email address is saved as a lead and used to send that report. We do not sell resumes. To delete your data, write to hola@getcvpro.com.
