In food processing, packaging, pharma or general manufacturing, plant recruiters hire in batches and screen fast. They want people who already know line pace, respect safety, and show up for every shift. Your resume does not need to be elegant. It needs to say, on one page, which machines you have run, which standards you have followed, and that you are reliable.
Use them only where they are true for you: the filter searches for them, but the recruiter verifies them in the interview.

Plants hire people without experience constantly; what they screen out is risk. Show you can handle the pace: farm work, construction, warehouse, loading and unloading, any physical job with fixed hours. List your education level honestly (high school diploma, GED, or highest grade completed), any short safety or forklift course, and above all state your shift availability and attendance record. A reference from a former employer confirming you never missed a shift is worth including.
Many plants accept applicants without one; others require a diploma or GED. List what you actually have with the year. Do not leave education blank.
Yes, if they were seasonal or project contracts. Write it that way: "Packaging Operator — peak season, Nov 2025 – Jan 2026". It shows you get hired and called back.
Write "forklift operation (uncertified)" or, better, get certified — it is a short course and opens higher-paying roles.
Not personal stats. If the job requires lifting, write "able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly" or whatever the posting specifies. Age, weight and health details do not belong on a resume.
Only with proof: "zero unexcused absences in 14 months" or a reference who will confirm it. Without evidence it is filler.
